In the late 1980’s, powder coating was becoming a popular finish in the Seattle area. Art Brass Plating started a small manufacturing set up for powder coating. Demand for the finish became so great that in 1985 a 10,000 sq. ft. lot was purchased and an 8500 sq. ft. building was built.

We installed a new 40’ conveyored oven, three-stage washer, dry off oven, paint booth, and dust collector. This system runs two shifts most of the time. Most types of powder and a wide range of colors are continually being applied.

Art Brass Plating customers include: large truck manufacturers, store fixture manufacturers, shower door and window frame manufacturers, hand railings, and metal artwork.

Art Brass Plating’s work can be found all over the country, including product display racks in Nordsrtom stores displaying Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger products, and in Starbucks and Eddie Bauer, to mention a few.
